Grand Risings,
The programming is real.
You need to look no further than the most powerful machine in brainwashing these days, social media.
Each person has picked his or her poison for their feed.
Never-ending content that pours in at breakneck speeds is filled with countless wins.
It has conditioned society they should build in public, and never show weakness or vulnerability.
In general, you see everyone’s wins, none of the losses.
Social media is doing its sole purpose which is to grind our social sense into the same.
As well as make us want what we do not have.
We tell social media what we like, and in return, they tell us what we should want.
It has turned us into a bunch of self-measuring fools who constantly compare ourselves.
The worst thing you can do is measure yourself with someone else’s cup.
Reread that line!
The worst thing you can do is measure yourself with someone else’s cup.
I want you to carry that line in your heart and know that you are great.
No two stories are alike, and no two outcomes are alike.
You are currently crafting the story that is your life.
So why as humans are we looking to measure ourselves with the same end goals of success?
Is your measure of success your own?
Is it something you can even control? (Follower count, amount of clients signed, etc.)
Take a moment today to ponder what you consider success, or someone successful.
Think and ask yourself “How do I measure success?”
It will surprise you what you come up with versus what the outside world fed you.
What is your merit of success? What is true success to you?
Reply directly to this email and let me hear your answers.
I would love to hear your insight.
I don’t care how much money a person makes.
I care what they make.
Sincerely,
Jordan Baylor
