Grand Risings,
“There's a war going on outside no man is safe from. You can run but you can't hide forever.” — Prodigy ‘Survival of The Fittest’
Those words from Mobb Deep always stuck with me.
What did he mean?
Doomsday theorist would say he was talking about martial law, the New World Order, climate change, or the impending alien invasion the government keeps hyping us about.
Honestly, he didn’t mean any of that new age b.s. He was talking about the threat as a human when you go outside that you can be hit with some life bullshit.
Just know that no one is immune to the B.S. of life, even if their life looks like roses on the outside.
The stuff that we call b.s. or problems is what makes up half of our thoughts and the other half are thoughts on how to get away from our own B.S.
My question to you is, what is your response to the B.S.?
Think of your coping mechanisms do you get distracted, frustrated?
Where has your mental focus been? Has the focus been on your future? Or has it been on trying to solve current problems?
I ask because where “attention goes energy flows.”
There is so much attention on the problems of today, but do you place your attention on the solutions wanted?
I’m all about simplicity.
I have adopted the mindset that the more complicated a system or method gets, the less likely it is to work.
Just my opinion and experience.
Here is a solid action plan for the week you can start doing now on this Money Monday.
STEP 1: Write on a notecard your goal. Your earnest desire. What you want the most.
STEP 2: Write your actions/activities as you go throughout your day.
Tonight review the note of your actions.
Are these actions bringing your closer to your goal?
Don’t be hard on yourself.
Forgive yourself and follow better actions tomorrow.
I don’t care how much money a person makes.
I care what they make.
Sincerely,
Jordan Baylor
