Morning Drafters,
Hope your week is starting off great - letās start it off strong on this Money Monday!
I will show you how to remove yourself from your own way, grab both feet and jump into whatever it is you want to do.
Before we begin, I will require a few things from you as a reader, but mostly I donāt want you to read this article and move on to the next post. That would be an utter waste of our time, and time is something we canāt get back.
You have something or are sitting on something you want to do. If you let me, Iām going to remove the block ā that is holding you up. Constipation inside your mind allows me to unclog it, so you can free flow.
If you can move next, you will be able to go for what you want. Stop wasting time and be the true person you want to be. Iāve learned after volunteering at senior citizen homes from high school until the age of 22 that it is filled with regret and things seniors wish they had done better.
Donāt let that be you.
Unfortunately, many people will be on the other side of this ā reading this article and doing absolutely nothing to push themselves forward and achieve their dreams.
Just consuming another article ā thinking they had made progress.
Donāt be old Dan in the old folksā home, drooling/pissing on himself, wishing he wouldāve done it better.
Imposters Syndrome needs to be taken out back and shot in the back of the head.
Wow, that headline is graphic, but itās true. Do you know whatās even more visual and vivid in peopleās heads? The lies that are holding them back. People have invented invisible rules that shackle them to the floor.
Keeping them from living their highest life, here are a few common ones.
Reason #1 They think they are not good enough.
Reason #2 They think they need to learn more to begin.
Reason #3 They believe there is a barrier to entry.
You need to take any thought inside your head that you arenāt good enough, donāt know enough, and arenāt ready.
There is simply nothing wrong with thinking you are āTHE MANā (or WOMAN) ready to tackle any issue.
Here is a step-by-step breakdown of how you can overcome the sinister Imposter Syndrome.
Step 1: Make a list of what you truly want to be.
If you could not fail, what would you do?
If there were no limits on your resources, what would you become?
-That thing ā The thing you thought of and just swatted away.
Bring it back, and we will become THAT.
Write it down.
Envision yourself doing it.
This will give you clarification.
Step 2: Just START
Choose a starting point ā countdown from 5 with me.

- begin.
See, that wasnāt so hard.
Throw caution to the wind and begin ā if the beginning of your journey involves you taking a course.
For the love of GOD ā DO NOT FINISH the course without taking action. For the sake of this article, the example I am going to use is email marketing.
I do email marketing. I learned it from necessity, as I had a blog but needed consistent traffic.
I had emails and started emailing the readers every day with articles from the day before. I had no clue what the hell I was doing ā I just knew if Hypebeast was doing it (my competitor at the time), I should be doing it.
My email list grew from a measly 350 people to 14,000 people reading every morning without even knowing it.
How does that help you?
For instance, letās refer to the first step ā if your goal is āACTING.ā
Open up a video app.
Record yourself acting ā it could be a monologue from your favorite movie- and upload a monologue.
It will feel silly because this is new territory, but keep going. What you want is on the other side of this feeling.
Release the work.
Do not sit on anything. Your work for that day needs to be seen.
The worst-absolute worst thing you can do is wait until you get good. Trust your āterribleā is someoneās best. Always remember that.
Step 3: Design a system where you get more reps.
The great Arnold Schwarzenegger said the number one key to his success-
The thing he used to become the number one salesman of fitness products before he ever made a dime through acting.
The shortcut made him the winner of five Mr. Universe titles and seven Mr. Olympia titles.
This exercise made him a #1 movie star globally ā even with his thick Austrian accent.
His number one key to success was that he took the MOST REPS. He lifted the most times, putting up the most attempts than anyone, which helped him hone his craft.
What exactly needs to be said if you want to act?
Do the most difficult monologues, skits, open mics, and community theater plays. Act until you have developed a style for yourself.
You canāt THINK your way into being a good actor or creator. You need the reps to become great.
Expect to start at the bottom, but in doing the most reps, you are telling the world and yourself (most importantly), that you are committed to the goal.
Step 4: Repeat
Now that youāve done that, your journey has begun, and you are finally out of your own way. It feels good.
No limiting belief to stop you.
Develop a system to get the most reps and watch you surpass the competition. Itās not a sprint ā itās a marathon.
