Ever had trouble getting up and facing the day?
The edge of your bed feels like a waterfall to jump off of.
Like monsters are at the foot with pitchforks and the only safe space is the pillow you can nestle back into?
The plush, and warmth feels good.
You simply don’t want to get up.
I don’t know whether it’s life that is facing you or you turn over into the pillow out of sheer tiredness.
Like a child fighting his mother for sleep.
You just want 5 more minutes.
Why is that?
I will tell you.
Unless you are striving for more.
There is an internal fight going on at all times.
A fight between where you are and where you want to be.
Who you want to be.
You must bridge the connection between who your mind thinks you are and who your mind knows you to be.
If you want to be the type of person that finishes things.
Closes the deal.
Is always on time.
Etc.
But your mind knows you as the person who drops the ball.
Constantly messes up in the 9th hour.
Doesn’t follow through.
You will have a hard time buying into a newer persona.
Remember who you are doing it for?
Do you have a strong vision for yourself?
It can be a vision of you with healthier eating habits, a vision where you
The vision must have 2 things.
It’s must be clear.
It must drive you to want to pursue it.
If it isn’t driving you to want to be stronger, faster, healthier, wiser, whatever.
What is the point?
The point is life gave you another chance today.
Take advantage and make the most of it.
Not everyone is given that gift.
