Joe Rogan + Dwayne Johnson = Steroid Use (*allegedly)
Plus, how I get Gwyneth Paltrow to read to me every night
Hello Drafters,
Joe Rogan accused Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson of steroids.
Shooting the juice into his system.
Taking the forbidden shortcut in the fitness route.
As anyone who knows - is he on steroids? I don’t know, but it seems like a fitness God should never kiss and tell.
With men’s physiques and massive muscles.
It’s kind of like an open secret.
A thing we don’t share, but we kind of know to be true.
Kind of like my cousin who brings his “roommate” with him every year for Christmas.
Six years in a row?
We all like and know Thomas at this point. Just tell us when the wedding is, no one cares.
I will let you in on my open secret.
I have finally found a hack to work out longer, making workouts more enjoyable and productive.
Something I use every lifting session.
It’s listening to self-development books while I lift.
There is something about crafting yourself in the gym.
Lifting something heavy reveals who you are.
It shows you how you handle problems.
Do you give up when it starts getting hard, or do you run to it?
Listening to books while I work out helps me not focus on the pain.
For audiobooks, though, if I don’t like the narrator’s voice it makes me turn the book off - no matter how informative it is.
That’s why I found my secret weapon - the audio app Speechify.
This app can take any written word in the text, turn any article online, or read to you any book you are reading.
And there are over 60 voices to choose from.
They have
Barack Obama
Snoop Dogg
My favorite is Gwyneth Paltrow's audio voice, which reads me. I like to think of Pepper Potts from the Avengers movies as helping me to become the next Iron Man.
For the holidays - they are running a sale - I want you to take advantage, click here.
