Hey you,
Don’t ever let society project this constant need to feel like you missed the boat?
It’s everywhere you look.
Society got access to a few copywriting tactics like limited quantity as a means to drive scarcity and urgency to increase sales.
It went from department stores driving sales with their “Doorbuster” deals to your local goddamn Instagram influencer telling you he is going to run out of copies of his digital PDF course.
Scarcity and urgency have been driving all things in society as a means to move quicker, output quicker, jump on trends, but not as a way to actually solve real problems.
We aren’t moving quicker to end hunger, homelessness or cause any real change.
When the time comes to actually make a real change, the motto is:
“Let’s slow down and assess what we are doing? We don’t want to rush now, do we?”
Don’t listen to the rules of society because, on the basis of everything they want you to do, comes a hidden price tag.
A price tag to get you to buy an item, experience, or idea.
Next time, society wants to show you someone who is insanely successful and wants you to feel as though you missed out on the boat of NFT’s, crypto, politics or whatever the hell social media is shilling.
