Good afternoon! There’s no way we can sit idly by while Friday is here, and ready to get dominated. Inside of this email you’ll read about A.I., writing hacks used to crank out more than 175+ books, and the “POWER” spinoffs that are coming.
Do you need A.I. editing your script?
SKYNET is closer to becoming self-aware, as Microsoft announces that they have a artificial intelligence that can not only detect your crappy writing, but can now edit it and improve it. Microsoft is rolling out a feature called “IDEAS” that offers immediate improvements on your documents.
One glaring and useful feature that ‘IDEAS’ is touting is the ability to review word laced documents and break down it’s key points for you in a matter of seconds.
EDITORS notes : *If Microsoft keeps adding updates to their software I might have to dust off my Windows XP desktop with the bitching CD-Rom drive and upgrade at my local Circuit City.
PRODUCTIVITY ALERT: Danielle Steel Has Written 179 Books
So just how has she stepped her output that high? In a cover story by GLAMOUR magazine she broke down her extensive work process she’s used to crank out seven new novels a year. Here’s the breakdown.
She writes in her San Francisco home office, on her 1946 Olympia standard typewriter, named OLLY.
Danielle’s writing day begins at 8 am and last for 20 to 22 hours. She says she’s lucky if she gets 4 hours of sleep a night.
On the topic of writer’s block, “I keep working. The more you shy away from the material, the worse it gets. You're better off pushing through and ending up with 30 dead pages you can correct later than just sitting there with nothing."
When asked what drove her after publishing so many books, Queen Steele replied:
"I never had success as a goal. I had this drive to to write the stories that came to me—and to conquer them. It came from the gut, not from the cash register."
Power is dead
It comes with a heavy heart that I bring you the news, that STARZ’ hit series POWER will be coming to an end with the conclusion of it’s sixth season. Writer and creator of hit tv series “POWER” Courtney Kemp has signed a first look development deal with STARZ network in 2018, and it seems we’re seeing just the beginning of their fruitful relationship. Though fans of POWER may be up in arms, don’t fret Fifty Cent first broke the news of the multiple spinoffs that are coming on his infamous Instagram account.
This season won’t be bite sized like season 5 was, it’s been re-upped for a 15 episode outing. POWER’s last season aptly titled “The Final Betrayal” premieres August 25th, brace yourself.
“We will follow some of your beloved Power characters beyond the scope of the initial series,” proclaimed EP Kemp today of the next phases in the world she fashioned. “But we will play with your expectations of which characters, where, and the master timeline of it all, creating a Power universe as unpredictable as the original.”
